The Darwin Clay Target Club block at Marrara has a combination of Vacant Crown Land, and Crown Lease Perpetual; if you’re in the Abala Rd vicinity, you may hear the ‘pop pop’ of clay targets being shot down.

The gamba grass on this block had gotten away from the not-for-profit sporting organisation, so the Gamba Army has assisted in getting this infestation back under control.

 

The block also borders onto airport land, who already invest significant money into weed control, so this created cross-tenure weed management benefits.
