ARNHEM HIGHWAY, GOODE ROAD

 

An extensive area of relatively undisturbed native woodland which forms a natural corridor between the southern Howard sandsheets interspersed with extractive pits, and north into Black Jungle Conservation Area.

 

This is an opportunity to keep a relatively ‘gamba grass free’ area, as a clean woodland habitat. Prevention of further establishment of gamba grass infestations will minimise future wildfire risk across this bushland and into rural blocks and conservation areas.
